Plants need molybdenum for the chemical changes associated with nutrition with nitrogen, in the metabolism of nitrogen within the plant, especially in the synthesis of amino acids and some enzymes. In non-legumes, molybdenum helps plants to properly use nitrates taken from the soil. If there is a deficiency, the nitrates accumulate in the leaves and the plant can not create proteins, which results in a slowing down of development and symptoms similar to those of nitrogen deficiency. In legume crops, molybdenum is also essential for the bacteria in root nodules (rhizobia) to fix atmospheric nitrogen. Leguminous plants are especially avid for molybdenum, since they need more of this element to fix nitrogen than to use nitrates.
Benefits of KELOM MOLYBDAN:
• Easy to use.
• It is totally soluble in water.
• Easily assimilated by the plant.
• It can be applied both by root and foliar route.
• Helps legumes increase nitrogen fixation by Rhizobium bacteria present in their roots.
